I hate barbatos

All it did was speed up the process of taegun and eunseong getting physical but for me that feels like a cheap plot point and it wouldve been fine if that came at later chapters seriously. I also hate how barbatos and that green haired character + others are so nosy if theyve done it or not like mind ur own business tf do none of them know boundaries

I'm pretty sure it's later revealed that barbatos wasn't actually drinking with friends, but instead it was an illusion set up by the protagonist. I don't remember the full details because it's been a while since I binged this series. I'm also not a huge fan of Barb, but I look at him as comedic relief and that helps. As far as everyone being nosey, I feel like that's part of the appeal of guideverse. Guiding is most affecting through sex and when a highly skilled esper is in need of guiding, discussions of sex cross over into professional settings (which is taboo in real life). Also, I think other characters pressuring these two to have sex adds something to the dynamic that a lot of readers often find appealing. I hope this helps :)

ohh I see, ill try to have more tolerance for barbatos ig also yeah I know some readers like the aspect of having characters in the novel be overly involved with the main characters as like a self insert, but sometimes i wish the authors would hold back a bit cause how I see it, sometimes it gets to the point where they objectify the main characters and just see them as two attractive dudes that they want to make get with each other but as a person it feels like theyre overstepping boundaries and it feels really uncomfortable to read where everyone in their world is overly involved to the point where they barely have privacy and everyone wants to know whats happening in their relationship like damn dont yall have better things to do or something (the characters in the story not readers)

I think in the case of this series, and Taegun in particular, sex is seen as therapeutic so Min Wooyoung asking about it was less voyeurism, and more clinical.
As for Baba, he’s like that annoying kid in movies that meddles with his parent love life trying to be “helpful” and just complicates things.
Currently you can tell he cares for Taegun (and is extremely loyal to Eunsung).
Basically, Baba is their surrogate kid.

right.. I think hes way too freaky though and focused on their sex life cause he always makes them want to do it.. so it wouldve been better if they just made him cute and not thinking of sex all the time.. its confusing cause theyre trying to make him cute but also a pervert lmao ?

Dont his actions annoy you? He just does whatever he wants without regard for anything / anyone else unless he gets less annoying in later chapters? i actually stopped reading but if he redeems himself ill read again
