Is the novel already finished? I would like to read it if that was the case.
I'm sorry about the down vote just fat thumb things yeah I read the novel upto 162 chapters. It was amazing. Loved it.

Agree and I like the novel version better.
I dropped the manhwa because it’s too different from the novel and completely fails to portray the characters as they truly are. Cedric and Harriet’s relationship is entirely different in the novel. He deeply admires her and considers her one of the smartest business partners he has ever had.
In the beginning ML definitely a bit mean to FL in the novel & manhwa but soon after that ML was curious about FL. He genuinely felt guilty because of him FL being sent to convent. He helped her during her convent days behind her back and always asked about her to his aide/informant, her great-aunt and the convent's Mother.
In manhwa, these parts are not conveyed clearly and in detail. I'm still looking for next updates, if the difference in story and character depiction is too different than I will also stop reading.
This is the first time I've come across a webtoon/manhwa adaptation that contrasts with the novel, usually even though there are slight differences, they're not this severe.

Cedric is portrayed as someone who genuinely admires her, and who gradually grows deeply attached to her. In the novel, he laughs at Harriet’s naive moments, supports her with intelligence and kindness, and slowly becomes emotionally involved with her.
I honestly imagined Cedric as a much gentler character. In the manhwa, he always feels cold and distant with her — interested, yes, but from afar.
Harriet feels very different too. In the novel, she’s determined, intelligent, proud, and deeply insecure at the same time. She has her own goals and works hard to achieve them through her own abilities, without relying on others — which is exactly what Cedric admires — and hate — about her.
But in the manhwa, she comes across more like a sweet, slightly naive woman devoted to the Church, constantly being helped by whatever benefactor appears around her. And her idea about Clarissa is not well-develloped
The story in the novel and the webtoon is presented differently.
The main storyline is the same, but it misses a crucial nuance. The reason her great-aunt agreed to sponsor her wasn't just out of compassion, but because she remembered her as a bright girl even from a young age. On their first meeting, FL gave her great-aunt a small precious stone and prayed for her husband's recovery. If her great-aunt's husband didn't recover, FL prayed for her great-aunt to be given a better life. FL had always been a sweet child. Her great-aunt was truly impressed from the first meeting; FL was not only sweet but also intelligent. As the rumors about FL grew, her great-aunt never believed them. She was simply surprised that FL didn't deny them and she simply curious why. When they met again after so long, her great-aunt still had a positive view of FL. FL's eyes still held a trace of intelligence.
In the story part of FL's appearance transformation, this does not happen in her room Her great-aunt did not simply show her room and beautiful new dresses.
When ML met her great-aunt, they had a longer conversation about FL, but the webtoon version cut it very short.
Long before FL secure a business deal with ML, FL's evil uncle was supposed to try to forge the land and house documents FL inherited from her father. FL was likely completely unaware of this. The uncle was essentially trying to forge the transfer documents from FL to himself. Uncle went to the bank to complete the paperwork, but the bank staff who provided FL's request had to be present, so they refused. Therefore, Uncle FL had no choice but to meet with her in person. They did not met at her great-aunt's house tho'. When they met again, FL did not give a slight crack fot her uncle to say anything silly, he only warned her to not spread story about Bella. He did not tell her about document transfer of land and manor.
It was not her great aunt who gave her business assessment, but Roxana.
Roxana was the first one who knew about FL's business plan and business deal with ML.
FL did not tell anything to her great-aunt.
ML's point of view is also often shortened. We basically got a plain salad, no toppings, no dressing. Just veggies.
The business deal between ML - FL cut short. In the novel, FL is not only responsible for marketing.
Their chemistry is interesting TBH. Starting from unpleasant encounter and atm as genuine business partner. It will be unfortunate if in the webtoon, the author fail to portray this.
He already done background checking on FL about all her scandals and already made smart assessment before they became a business partner.
If this continues, I'm not sure if this webtoon can deliver the same story as the novel.
