I remember short series drawn by the artist of ghost nocturne, now that i look back from the first chapter of this series and the spoiler you shared i kinda have theory that this is a prolonged from that short version of series that been drawn before. although i just found out too that this one also has a novel, i think the ghost nocturne artist with intention spoil us about this project but we just didnt notice it before
Yes, mc runs away, goes through difficult times to have some tittle peace only for ML to find him.
The "chace him" arc is not wholesome, he did't try to win mc over. They did talk at the end, they both got a point but also some gaslighting.
