Here are three links to different website lists (two of which are Reddit) of games that would fall under this:
1.) https://www.thegamer.com/horror-games-multiple-endings-list/
Basically, any horror game where you are given choices, expect to run into one or two (or multiple) "bad" endings to get to the end!
2.) https://www.reddit.com/r/JRPG/comments/1425pvs/what_is_your_favorite_rpg_maker_horror/
"RPG Maker horror" is an entire branch of games (made with rpgmaker program) where players (like Dreadful night) have no clue how to get to the ending and are often killed brutally time and time again as they learn the lore of the game and figure out eventually what needs to be done.
3.) https://www.reddit.com/r/ChillasArt/comments/1gm8ilr/spoilerfree_lists_of_chillas_art_games_by_style/
More recently, I would say many Chilla's Art games fall into this sort of gameplay, especially as they've gained traction in the past few years and many current players would've missed the RPG Maker era of horror games and, thus, might not be as well versed in horror tropes. While not as gratuitous with death as this manhwa (or its predecessors), it does have certain triggers for instant death, much like regular "death flags", so I think it deserves mention!
And these are just more "popular" ones! Late 90s/early 2000s video game horror came by the dozens, so there a probably a whole bunch more games that aren't "mainstream" enough to make any of these lists :)

what kinda game requires u to die over a hundred times to get even close to finishing the game?
