I know alot of people hate the ML and how he is acting but I think we gotta remember the ML believes he was drugged by MC in high school. Which caused him in a way to become broken.The drugs ended up making him a dominant alpha who is essentially has fucked up pheremones. Throwing his life into chaos. Which is why now only MC pheremones is the only thing that can fix him. If we keep in mind that ML was minding his own business & MC approach him and eventually wore him down to them becoming friends. Now imagine all your life people have only been nice to you because they want to use you and your family for their own benefits. Your life is already preplanned out for you by your family so you already learn the art of tuning everything and everyone out that isn't part of the plan. So your constantly guarded until you finally met someone who appears to actually be genuine and it feels like maybe you can breathe only for you to let your guard down, be drugged in the end and things happen that you in your right mind probably wouldn't had consented too. While we know MC is such a sweet person and would never harm the ML. The ML doesn't know that in his mind the MC is a liar who drugged him for his benefit & ruined his life and now is back with the same nice guy personality that he originally fell for that lead to his predicament. Idk I'm giving the ML grace cause looking at his POV. MC looks bad. However, I do hope the misunderstanding is cleared up and ML believes him. I can tell ML still cares for MC but he is just afraid to be betrayed and doesn't know what to do with the hurt and revenge mind set he feels. Again this is just my opinion
