Skill issue. Why would you make this your comfort story knowing damn well what was going to happen when Juheon discovered why Dohu approached him initially.

I made this my comfort story cuz i relate to Dohu as a character and I enjoy some drama and angst which will be followed up by healing and comfort later.
I love seeing characters go through tribulations in their journey and end up together as they heal each other.
However rather than seeing some healthy communication I get sexual violence. That is why I am disapointed.
and honestly I was all in for some angry/hate sex and smut and that could have been drawn without showing SA.
I am just fucking tired of SA in the name of dark romance and angst.
I think it's much more useful to see this as a big mistake on Juheon's part, who will have to apologize over it and work on stepping out of the bad mental place that caused him to make such awful decision in the first place (cause rape is a choice, not something that just happens). If Dohu decides to accept the apology or distance himself is also part of their growth path. He insisted on having sex when Juheon asked wether they did it or broke the deal, and while he chose to keep going he may now reconsider.
Even if you can't relate to Dohu anymore, try to see it as a growing oportunity fot both characters. I insist: this was never meant to be a peaceful, comfort story. There were lies from the beginning.
I still relate to Dohu cuz everything he has been through in his life before meeting juheon is very similar to what I've been through.
I never expected this story to be peaceful, dont get me wrong. I specifically started reading this story cuz i wanted some good old angst( I am someone who was kinda bored of Sunny Days because while its cute i wanted some angst and I totally dig stories like Banana Fish and Home Far Away ) . However, people need to stop defending SA in the name of angst.
The author could have totally drawn them having angry sex ( which i was actually very much looking forward to ) instead of drawing the shit that was Ch 88
Another comfort manhwa down the drain.
I had a rough week and was so glad to see an update but GODDD I AM SO MADD.
I am dropping this until I have a really good reason to return for.
