I mean it’s nice i guess to know mincheols backstory, but I’m confused as to why he’s getting so much screen time even tho we all know he’s not the ml. Like even if the author is trying to show “why he did the things he did”, in the end, he still made those poor decisions himself. I’m guessing author is trying to make us emotionally connected to mincheol so that when haesoo ultimately rejects him, it actually makes us feel something instead of being detached because we already knew taeha was endgame.
