Lol true TT. no but I do wish they'd show more of the dad caring for at the very least the eldest more cause y'know those stories where you love the person so much you want to have a child with them and then when that childs born it's just love at first sight for the dad? (Unconditional ofc!)
It sounds like dad really loved their mom so I'd like to think that the eldest also has a special place in his heart. Especially since mom likely already opened dad's heart to be a bit more loving towards their kids. Like after giving birth she's like "come here meet your son" and that kind of stuff

Chapter 74. I'm sorry that's so cringe TTTT look I get it, lulu is the best thing they have and that they love her so much but really??? She's the gift?? That's basically proving Cynthia's point that she's trying to get all the attention in her dad's own birthday. Yes I understand, he wasn't throwing a party if it weren't for lulu, he doesn't mind anyway, he love's his gift, and that's not what they're trying to show in that scene etcetera. But c'mon man. It's giving more pick me energy than Cynthia and her mother, couldn't they made that scene more special by idk giving him a handmade gift? Like for example we see lulu draw a lot to the point it's basically a contract, they could have shown her giving him a slightly more detailed drawing of her and him together. It doesn't have to be one of those realistic stuff just a drawing with the two of them that shows she gave a lot of love, time, and patience into making the gift for him
Plus it still gives you that same shock/humiliation value for Cynthia and her mom, they'll be like "really she's giving her dad a trashy drawing??" And then boom, dad makes a big deal and gets the treasury and preservation magic involved, and the brothers are jealous. He'll still love it anyway but now it feels more like an actual gift. Heck even being like "dad I hired a painter to paint both of us together" would have been more thoughtful
Yes, before anyone asks I know it's not that deep
