Yay, I'm just on ch2 and I was hoping for this! I really felt for Alec and his tears like damn
What IF, ML was Alec all along.
It said that after his death his soul went wandered off somewhere. And he said to the FL that he wants to be reborn over and over until he becomes the perfect husband for her. What if Alec went to that universe with system window and the system is just a tool to make him a perfect husband for FL (and ofc he forgot). When ML completed the last quest his reward was coming back to his wife after he gained the qualities of the perfect spouse and saved the world.
