Okay... Had to read chapter 88 twice to sort of understand, because I was a little pissed the first time I read it. I feel like ML was trying to scare MC and offered to stop, and then MC said to proceed. I didn't understand why he said so it's "fair", until I realized he believes ML is also in pain due to his injuries. So ML goes through with it, still hoping to scare MC away with the pain, until seeing that expression on the MC's face and saying that he's still as stubborn as ever or something. It's a battle of wills, that's all it is. And because this is a BL they're doing it through sex and not, you know, communication. They both have different goals though, and MC doesn't have the whole story yet from ML (which is sort of understandable, because one wrong move and all his plans go to waste and he loses the other war he's battling against his aunt) so...maybe communication just isn't possible for them at this point of the story. But MC is pushy. Could this have been handled better? Sure, I think. But I no longer think that this chapter is pointless, but I'm sad I had to work my brain to get it.
