Same, Im tired of this villain but still be the end game trope. I wish the MC love someone truly, or for the first time I sish it has tragedy genre and that is MC himself, tge ML better live on with eternity guilt

I used to love trope like this thinking the MC can change ML. But thst still too toxic.
For me its not even about 'changing' the ML is about the abuse and the ideal that they changed (they may have only after something happens) BUT its not about the change its about the abuse that happened that wont ever change,.. it happened plain and simple. It just seems like its a common arc and normal. It just doesnt sit right with me anymore just seems to desensitizing or something.
That the ML dies after MC runs away. Im tired of MC getting stuck with bastards like the ML. He raped(s) MC, blackmails and threatens him. I really would like for a storyline where the MC knows and decides they deserve better and gets help from people that will help him get and maintain it. I'd even be happy if the MC runs away and the ML get injured then his condition finishes him off or Better yet the MC realizes a way that allows him to deny the ML access to his Blue Arua. That would be EPIC! Still going to continue to read because I want to read how its going to end. What do you all think? Hope alls with everyone. : )
