Chapter 21 is I'm at a loss of how Will our mc explain.. didn't expect the recording

Ok so spoilers ahead






The ml keeps recordings of all his calls which includes informal and formal calls. So I believe in chapter 19 or 20, when the mc was feeling his lowest he calls ml very late at night and confesses to him but the ml couldnt hear it properly on call and instead kept asking him to send a message of what he had to say on call. But again, the mc deeply believed that his feelings would never be accepted but still overwhelmed and sad he kept saying out his feelings even over the bad reception (also knowing the ml couldnt hear him) and never truly told abt it through messages as ml had kept requesting. And ml never really got to know about these feelings or whether something like this was ever told to him.

So in chapter 21. The ml gets very sick and mc decides to come over and help him with making porridge or just to check on him (eventually helping him with food). The ml says he will be taking a nap and goes into deep sleep next to the mc on the sofa and then the ml gets a phone call from an editor that is responsible for publishing his poems or works. The mc picks it up instead hoping not to disturb the ml and had the editor convey the important information to him on the ml's behalf. the ml then wakes up and asks whether he had recieved any calls which the mc says yes and suddenly the ml decides to ask the mc to listen to the recording of the call that the mc had just picked up from the ml's phone.

The ml asks the mc to listen to the recording through headphones and some other previous recordings from his editor or publisher to tell him exactly what has been told over the call (the ml also had headphones but idk maybe he needed someone to double check with what he heard (?)). Thats when the mc suddenly asks whether he keeps a recording of his non work related calls too and the ml says, yes he does. Mc panics because a day before or maybe two, he had confessed his feelings to the ml and knowing the ml records his calls he knew that everything had said had been recorded too.

Thats when right after the work related recordings the ml spots the mc s name in the recording log and presses it for both of them to hear... And the voice of the mc confessing his love for ml is heard and leaves the mc shaken. He didnt want the ml to hear because deep inside he knew his feelings would never be accepted and he would again be abandoned (he is an orphan) again. This scene is so raw you just cant help but shed a tear... the mc vompletely appears vulnerable and the dialogues are so heart touching...

The ml then says that whatever he has done till now for the mc was to make it obvious that he had feelings for the mc too and it wasn't to play with him. Both kiss and things are about to get spicy next chapter (not out yet).
