I agree that MC will escape thru that hole behind the soybean jar, but I do wonder how his aura will be covered up. The ML said and followed the MC aura before so how would the snow really effect it that much to the point that its gone? Maybe winter snow is MC weak season and his aura goes dormant or something. BUT wouldnt the ML threaten the Grandma by moving her to a different location or something as a hostage to get the MC back? Unless MC has help.

I think rather than his auro going dormant its more like how rain washes away trace the snow could work in a similar way? Covering up the aura traces. & Id go by fictional logic that the ml just decides not to threaten with his grandma or didnt think of it, something like that?
