my exact feelings. glad to know i’m not the only one. ik a lot of bl readers don’t mind rape, incest, etc. but i just can’t sit back and enjoy.
It’s extremely hard to find a BL made before 2024 that doesn’t have rape lol. But it’s just this one is so egregious, not a single “sex” scene occurred without him absolutely hating it or exhibiting coping mechanisms of a rape victim

Idk couldn’t find it in me to enjoy the sex scenes bc the guy keeps getting raped lol. Not even like cnc, he genuinely fucking hates him. Writhing in pain, constantly just not enjoying it, and when he physiologically does, it’s more like a rape victim’s trauma response. Generally a hard fucking read even though it’s 33 chapters for main.
Also, the incest thing was just off putting (even though it’s not what you think no spoiling) , like nothing is appealing besides his look and I found myself wishing the uke dies so he’s no longer miserable and the seme dying cause like fuck him.
