If this manhwa toned down the constant sexual violence and gave the story a different ending, I honestly think it could’ve been a lot more impactful. I also think the story would’ve been more complex if the MC had kept his memories. Instead of ending with them trapped in the same cycle of abuse, it might’ve hit harder if they chose to die together like lying in a quiet snowy field, finally escaping everything rather than continuing the suffering. Them dying together would’ve symbolized an end to the cycle of abuse instead of romanticizing it.
I also would’ve preferred an ending where they still end up together, but it’s portrayed as toxic and tragic rather than romantic. Two broken people trying to get help while stuck in a relationship neither of them can fully escape from. But not in a romanticized “everything is okay now” way. More like two deeply damaged people finally seeing each other for who they really are and realizing how toxic they both became. Not redeemed, not magically healed, but actually trying to understand each other and get help while knowing their relationship is still dark and unhealthy. In a weird way, they deserve each other because no one else could really understand the damage they carry. ╥﹏╥
i would love to read something like what you mentioned at the first paragraph, this manhwa generally just feels like fetish work and i don't think the author ever planned on giving it a psychological impact, the tag psychological seems to be just for show imo

yeah I’m honestly disappointed because it had a lot of potential to be a good psychological manhwa, but there’s too much rape and violence. But what can I say, I don’t really expect too much from this author tbh lol. Just wishing the author at least makes slight tweaks to the plot.
