It would be nice if the people reviewing would review the story thats written instead of what they think the story is or how it might end up. It's annoying to read them talking about how they hate how the FL loves the ML in the second life when that hasn't even happened in the story yet.
I appreciate the effort the author is putting so the reader is in a similar situation to the FL - to make us hate the ML from the first life and agree he is irredeemable but have ambiguous feelings towards the ML of the second life who technically hasn't done anything awful at all yet.
It's also interesting that the FL retains some of her weaknesses. It's irritating when the lead regresses and suddenly becomes a superhuman with zero faults when they're the same person who was an idiot in their first life. The FL's compassion and inability to be as cruel as the situation calls is her biggest weakness as is her inability to discern the true character of the people around her. Same for the ML. The FL protecting him means he's not as evil and insane as the original timeline but he still retains the seed of resentful and obsessive behaviour that was the problem in the original timeline.
Anyway it's obvious they're going to end up together and whether that is awful or not is going to depend on how the author writes the rest of it but the progress so far isn't bad.
