i think that's pretty clear in the manhwa? that's what i got from reading the chapter anyway and i have never read the novel so
yeah i guess it was implied with the way it was shown to give more suspense for the next season. in the novel it was just portrayed upfront and yeehyeon said it so rawly and plainly while trying to rationalize everything.
he realized and thought it was just casual sex. and thought they were both adults who could handle a casual relationship like that. And he was still considering it even though he realized he had feelings for the seme.
