this scene was longer in the novel, chase was almost SAed by multiple omegas and Josh barely made it to save him but he was quiet traumatized here and Josh's entrance was a bit more grand and breathtaking

Like the moment Chase was looking forward being saved by Josh, how he thought Josh will save him and Josh couldn't care less being hurt since it's for his sake, him getting thrown in a situation he despises the most, then Josh appearing in his moment of helplessness urgh it was so gooood reading that

The more I reread this chap the more I get a bit sad, yeah I'm happy seeing this illustrated but it never felt the same way when I read the novel :')) Chase's situation here is really different, the way he's trying to fight his kidnappers off and those omegas urgh idk how to explain istg if they did this pace in the next chap too oh no no no, that's literally one of the best scene they better not
