I didn’t read the novel so this is all second hand but ml is what’s called a ghost alpha and basically he can turn mc into an omega(he alr was one just wasnt presented) and when his eyes turn white ish grey like that it’s a sign that he’s turning someone and the reason he freaked out after knotting is knotting in a beta as a ghost alpha can kill them and or paralyze them and he is the only one who can smell MCs pheromones so he’s wildly confused why mc keeps saying hes a beta and doesnt get wet but more or less theyre like a fated pair
