I think that as you read you understand that human relationships go far beyond the aspect of body.
But I was disappointed by the side couples. Apart from the first one that is shown of the two best friends otakus, the others are just somenthing messing around put on the story. No explanation, no deep past chapter about it...
I don't know about you, but the story of the archer and the blond is terrible. It has no mutation, the smaller one is suffering as hell and we are there say 'it's okay'... It's not okay, and it's not okay they two of them stay together when one is the bully and one is the victim.
I don't know. It's a good story, but too much thinks not explained... And that let a bitter taste on the lips.
