Beautiful art all around, barely average storytelling.

The art is what drew me the most in this manhwa. The colours, the lines, the character designs — the ML is beautiful, the FL is gorgeous, and I absolutely devoured the panels with them together.

Unfortunately, the visual appeal did not translate to the story itself.

Abrupt change of scenarios and conversations. Racism with the darkening appearance of the possessed ML. The characters felt boring as if they were created solely around tropes.

However, of course we are here for the protagonists since they're the ones telling the story.

I'm pretty sure ML has a bipolar disorder at this point. He's hot then he's cold, the whole repressed and strained male love interest was not handled well. Little to no character development.

FL on the other hand, I think she's a little more developed, though she's not the kind of protagonist I necessary will recommend to anyone. Vain, close-minded, I would say even ridiculous in some sense. I did not enjoy her, I will be honest.

Best character so far is the ML's sister — the 'original' female protagonist. She knows what she wants, learns to stand up for herself, and knows her own worth. She could be written better for such strong characteristics, alas, she had the misfortune of being written in a one dimensional fantasy romance manhwa.

As I always say, you can read it so you can make your own opinions about it. My words are not set in stone for anyone, though I would personally not recommend this.
