a lot of people don’t acknowledge this but the trope of a rich person x a dirt poor person has an insane power imbalance. you cannot sit here and justify with all your might that kim dan signing the contract was out of his complete will and consent when it took him being chased around by debt collectors and trying to save his dying grandma to agree to anything. never in a million years can i see myself having any sort of sympathy for a man that got on his knees and cried once over someone he used and abused in so many inhumane ways for so long, which we as the readers were subjected to witnessing in detail throughout the entire manhwa.
People still hate and curse Jaekyung even after he kneeled, cried and apologised. Like as if he forced Dan . You guys forgetting the fact that Dan himself did sign away his body (sold his body for money). He’s not a child, he’s older than JK. LOL !
