I honestly don't see the "Romantic vibe," like, it looks more like a really concerned hyung, and I think the artist is actually making a good job in representing that since there's no trace of weird expressions or smth that could give a wrong idea

iirc they are 4 years apart so it's actually like two highschool students' relationship atp (not romantic). they share a familial bond, imo very comparable to that of the bond j had with the older female hunter he calls auntie at that moment. j is sayoung's savior and also a brother figure he admires while sayoung becomes the thing that makes euijae's days a lil better amidst the Horrors. pls don't tergiversate their relationship like that.
