There were definitely moments where it felt sympathetic toward him, but honestly, he just ended up super unhinged. I feel like there should’ve been a better explanation for how that whole compulsion thing goes because it vaguely sounds like he knew the story? From the trial. But it’s such a one off line it doesn’t really go into anything. And if that is the case, then I feel dumb for feeling bad for him in the first place because that means he knew how she was being treated and called her his best friend while letting all that happen
I see, I understand if that's how you see it, but we have different perspective of how we see every character in every story we read, that's why I said I feel bad for him.
