That’s not really true. HE stayed for HIS dad because he’s all he has left. He knows that leaving to go with his mom would guarantee him a better life but he pities his father. That’s why he stayed.

I really don’t understand what is stopping him from leaving the domestic abuse. His dad clearly doesn’t care about him he only cares for his money. Why does this author just love to cause trouble
