My take on this so far is that Taesan was the one who put the cockroach and the note there, scattered the broken glass, and stole the shoes.

As for why he did it… either he’s genuinely psychotic, or he wanted someone else to experience the same suffering he went through, which honestly isn’t exactly sane either lol

    Nope, Taesan is a genuine common roll and would never do something like that. He did put the note and I believe it was explained in the manhwa why. He just wanted to congratulate Jun.

    It’s pretty easy to figure out who put the cockroach.

    The glass was just a lazy adaptation. In the novel Jun was actually walking home in the slippers and stepped on the glass on the street which makes more sense.

    His shoes were stolen but not by any of the meaningful characters.

    Well damn, I was fully convinced this was turning into one of those “everyone is secretly insane” plots poor guy.

    Though honestly, a twist like that could’ve been really interesting too lol. Thanks for the clarification!
