This one is actually pretty not problematic at all, I've read the novel. The manhua is quite different from the novel, in the novel the Emperor didn't force himself to Yeon. Things were more tame between the Emperor and Yeon. Also, the empress and the concubines are cool, I love the Empress, she actually wants to be a ruler she doesn't care about love, if she was given the chance to be the Emperor, she would choose to do so.
Ill just give the novel a try tysm! Imma try to find it

And they happily live ever after, I hope it isnt the case with this one cuz Im abt to read it and from the comments they mentioned the MANHWA (they mentioned its just thr artstyle that makes it look like its a manhua I dont even know) has but the novel doesnt but that doesnt surprise me cuz what did we expect HAHAHA
