Atp on the manhwa, Lee Shinwoo is a student at a private high school that specializes in training artists. That’s why they offer ballet classes, and Donhwa, his roommate, is a painter. Kang Taeon is basically the owner of the school because it was funded by his father’s company, VC. The thing about the school is that it’s a front for money laundering and for hiding the unwanted children of Korea’s wealthy (though that becomes relevant later). Now Kang Taeon, as the god of the school, chose Shinwoo as his plaything because he's an evil pig and uses the school’s students to satisfy his needs.

Booty Wurk gets good in like, and I'm not lying, the last 1000 words. Shinwoo finds some closure regarding ballet and his life, and Kang Taeon realizes, IN A SINGLE LINE, that he ruined Shinwoo’s life and he regrets is. The literal line is “Now he couldn’t even scream” because he sees him smile and he realizes he could've make him happy and not like ALMOST KILL HIM EVERYTIME.
The whole love thing is complicated because Shinwoo never falls in love with Kang Taeon, but Kang Taeon is COMPLETELY OBSESSED with him throughout the story. This is how you should read the novel and manhwa btw. It’s not until Full Bloom (a thousand times worse, absolute madness) that Shinwoo accepts he has no choice but to love him.

It’s much worse in the sense that it undoes all the “progress” we saw in *Booty Wurk* and plunges Shinwoo into six volumes of ABSOLUTELY INSANE suffering—all in the name of breaking him down so he can finally say “I love you” to Kang Taeon. And when I say it’s insane, I mean there are scenes of mass graves, watersports and scat, torture and confinement, and Korean readers just say, “Oh wow, it’s so romantic,” and they never tell you that KANG TAEON MAKES A FATHER EAT HIS SON’S REMAINS LIKE UHM EXCUSE THAT'S A VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL YOU NEVER EVEN MENTIONED WTF. Hell, even the extras are horrifying. The Omegaverse AU literally made me cry (Booty Wurk too, btw)
