I’m confused why the merman says that he’s the one who owes a debt to the crown prince for what happened 9 years ago when he’s the one who saved him from drowning not once, but twice! Even if he did owe him for something when they first meet, now that he saved him a second time, that debt should be paid, shouldn’t it? It’s just kinda odd how adamant the merman is to help the crown prince.
