It's okay to not forgive those that hurt you. She did him wrong and im upset the kid and husband don't see this.

If my husband buys a house for someone I don't see eye to eye with, especially after going through what they did in season 1, I'd be pissed. The trauma she inflicted on him almost made him believe he couldn't be a good mum, that's why he almost abandoned his first child then... The mum only came back because she saw he was doing well and had married a rich man. That's why she's sorry.

That's what I think too, bothe father and mother are the same, only appearing after he married someone rich, I don't know if I'm just heartless but honestly at this point I'd be totally silently distancing myself from both ny husband and son, so one day I can just leave, my mom left us not long after my dad passed away and then reappear after we grown up, so I can't sympathize with anyone here, not the husband or the son, not even hyesung himself

Exactly. It's extremely selfish of them that they're disregarding his feelings because they want to play family with grandma. They can do what they want without making him feel the need to reconcile with her

The author would probably bring up one sob story of how she had no choice but to abandon him as a child and regrets it now. Very convenient

That'd genuinely piss me off so bad I'll actually will a genie into existence just so I could wish to send a tomato to the author and have it fly directly to their current draft for this arc. Not only does this come off as ignorantly written but I also hate that it pushes out the "it's okay if your parents did you wrong they're still your parents :))" narrative.
