Oddly the ml looks better this chapter. I think it’s because of the drastic change in confidence or boldness. Now he looks like he’s just playing along in their game because it’s entertaining and he could leave at any time while earlier he looked desperate, weak, and not in control. Of course I’m not saying his position has actually changed but he just looks so different this chapter
