I know it's popular in yaoi category but someone clarify in black app that this is a psychological horror not yaoi, I still can't find enough spoilers but I am curious though but I don't wanna regret, so someone spoil meee about the story, thanks!

It’s highly read, but honestly don’t understand the hype, I dropped it so fast. But if you like Blind Play or Obey Me, then go for it. Had more thriller and gore then a typical yaoi and the characters are depressing af.

I recommend instead https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/the_beast_must_die/ it’s the top rated in it’s category and far better developed characters and story. Also Black Mirror or Warehouse.

I didn’t read it despite the popularity but I do advise you to keep some fluffy series if ever you decide to start this one. You’ll need it. I think.

Id read it just for the experience and if you have fomo lol, but if you don’t I think you’re not missing out on much. I read the whole thing during quarantine and it was good but I probably wouldn’t re read it.

Actually thinking back I think it was actually a great read if you like disturbing stories and I thought it was pretty crazy, but I was 14 when I read it… but now years later I’m pushing 20 and think I wouldn’t like it as much

it’s not necessarily a “must read” or “worth reading” unless you don’t mind dark themes/disturbing stories and whatnot. i can always give a tldr if you don’t mind those type of stories too much since it’s a read w precaution type of story.

Ever since I read it when I was nine years old my life drastically changed.

i’m sorry it took a while to respond.. i kept rewriting it to make it as short as possible but so much happens in only 67 chapters. (,,¬﹏¬,,) i also went back and scrolled through some of the chapters just so i wouldn’t get anything wrong but hope this is enough. also some tw just in case: sexual assault/rape, violence and abuse, coercive relationships, gore, manipulation, murder, self-harm and that should be most of it. anyways here it is:

mentally ill mc breaks into his crush’s house and finds out he’s a serial killer/psycho. mc get caught but gets spared because he confessed to liking his crush. mc stays with crush since he (his crush) broke his (mc’s) ankles. mc opens up to crush and then get’s the chance to escape but doesn’t. a lot is revealed throughout like how mc was raped by his uncle and crush’s dad was abusive and his mother was manipulative and would blame him a lot. as the story progresses and people die the main officer ends up in crush’s house and sees mc tied up sitting on a chair while water is boiling and once he unties him mc apologizes as we see the officer getting hit by the crush using a baseball bat. once knocked over crush pours boiling water on the officers face and before he (crush) stabs him (officer) he (crush) gets slightly pushed by mc making him miss. crush then hits and yells at mc giving the officer time to get up and hold a knife. they then duel it out each one of them getting upper hand every now and then until the officer gets the upper hand and tells mc to run away. the officer then gets stabbed and reaches out for his lighter since he smelled gas (crush didn’t turn off the stove) and once he does the house catches on fire. the officer somehow makes it out while crush is still inside trapped. once at the hospital mc gives his statements to another officer/investigator. after finding out what hospital the crush was at mc went only to end up at the wrong hospital. the officer picks mc up calling him stupid after he (mc) ran into a friend and talking to her saying he can’t trust people too easily since he hasn’t been confirmed innocent. the officer then drove mc back to the hospital he was staying at. two days later mc goes again and kept going to different rooms since they kept giving him the wrong one until he follows this man that hands him crush’s ashes. mc confused asked why he got given ashes and finds out he died 2 days ago from lung complications which led to respiratory issues. as he’s walking back he overhears some old ladies how one of them put a pillow on the crush because he was being nosy calling out for someone desperately. he then approaches them and asks to tell him the full story. once she does he goes back to the crush’s house and goes inside, tripping and dropping the ashes in one of the rooms he starts to touching the ashes and starts to hallucinate the crush. as he’s seeing the hallucinations he goes outside “following” the crush around until we see mc get run over. the end~ very tragic ik

But damn, that's literally fucked up. So this is really a well written psychological horror but they didn't end up instead it became tragic and one of them died until the mc finally followed the ml to the grave? Wow, I didn't expect those, that's kinda a lot but really interestingg, your spoiler help me a lot to not read it then, lmao

yeah it really is. at one point in the story the mc told the crush to promise him not to sleep with another woman again until they both die and he (crush) accepted only if he’ll (mc) die together w him, like die after he dies which is exactly what happened since mc kept hallucinating abt the crush. it’s definitely well written and the reason why many people are split between loving it and not really loving it afterwards bc of how dark it truly is. many people wished the mc got a happy ending afterwards but sadly didn’t end up getting one and i’m glad this helped in any way it could. ♂
