Honestly... I feel bad... and think she deserves to suffer a lot before being killed.. but I also don't think he deserves to be forgiven easily. He had some level of control and self awareness during all this and just let her take control over him. He was willingly being controlled and not a full victim. If only killing his daughter crossed his line after all he did... means he's still an awful person... I just hope he suffers the consequences properly instead of the "he was brainwashed" free card...

I don't think he voluntarily and willingly let himself be controlled by the witch. I read from the spoilers that the bitch made a contract with a succubus queen by giving her soul in exchange for power, and she has a "Edit" skill that is able to control everyone under her curse, it's a power given by the queen succubus that is able to put even powerful players under her curse and able to change their whole being/personality depending into whatever she wants them to be, meaning however strong the sword king is he won't be able to escape the witch's power. So the sword king is a 'victim' that was manipulated by her whoreness because he wanted all powerfull men to bow down to her and control them. She must be tortured and burn to death.

I'm not denying she must be tortured and burnt to death. But I'm not so sure about that part of him not being able to break free... even that assassin girl almost broke free sometimes.. and that hoe even mentioned that she needed to stay with him so his swords passive wouldn't break him free. Besides... he let her approach and seduce him to escape his grief after his wife's death. And she admits herself she couldn't control him perfectly and he kept his personality. Which means he was ok with everything he's done until she decided to kill his daughter. He was ok with betraying the country and abandoning Seah over her.. he was only not ok with going back and killing her himself. And he was fighting it off in his subconscious. Just that is enough to convince me he could've fight it off before if he wanted it. He choose not to.
Think about it. Even if he had tried to break free and she used that stronger skill on him earlier and he decided to fight it off like that scene in his subconscious... he would've eventually won even without mc's help. It could've taken time but it would've happened.
That's why I can't consider him a full on victim. And honestly I've seen too much of that they were brainwashed to do bad things and mistreat people so they are victims and can't be blamed trope to just accept it. I don't think he deserves death because he'll be useful in future fights... but I don't think he deserves to get away scotch free either... at least a good beating...

Oh that makes sense fr. Tbh even if I think that he's only doing those terrible things was because he's being brainwashed and controlled, but still his overall actions annoys tf out of me, I hope Se Ah wouldn't forgive him too easily.
