Amon isn't the ML, there's two and he'll technically end up with both of them (because his life is literally bound to Amon unfortunately). I'm not sure on the memories though, except that what he's about to go through and such is part of why he wants to die enough to start physically disappearing. I've been in the comments long enough to see these spoilers but I didn't read the novel lol

That's what spoilers say, but technically his life is tied to Amon's, so I don't know the specifics except that Nain wouldn't exist without Gwen making him want to live basically
