I do want them to be a happy couple and be lovey dovey yes, but Jaehyuk did start of as a "staight" guy, and those relationship between a gay guy and a "staight" guy are infamous for being bad and unhealthy. A lot of the time progress isn't linear in life. So why would their relationship always improve and be better when they had a lot of issues unadressed. Like Jaehyuk frankly selfish and hardheaded nature of pusing on forwards without thought, and Garam's unprocessed trauma of being abandoned and betrayed by his ex so he has a tendency to be hyperaware and prepare for disaster( aka outted or break up). I just think we are used to story progression we call realistic but are actually just Cinderella happy endings. When a lot of real life relationships take work and communication which a lot of people in relationship choose not to do. Especially if they are young like in their early 20's Also would like to say they aren't evil or bad...annoying yes but that because they characters are humans with flaws. I feel like this is one of the few bl where "staight " seme narrative is explored in a much realistic lense. Like in real life they would be a toxic couple because they both are kinda not understanding how their actions are hurting the other. All in all Im happy for season 4 but I wish we get season 5 or Omegaverse baby side stories.

Yeah, that's not what happend: Garam just acted like a selfish bastard who patronized Jaehyuk - the two of them clearly are not fit for each other because Garam surprisingly doesn't want to be loved and loves to act insecure.
Jaehyuk is not his therapist, so I do hope he finds someone abroad - but we all know that he will come back to Garam although Garam doesn't deserve him one bit.
