i dont think its unbalanced it just hasnt fully blossemed yet. the way i see it how they feel about each other are equally strong, mc just realised sooner that those feelings were romantic and ml was still healing from his trauma. now that theyre dating itll be very easy for ml to pivot from platonic to romantic feelings because mc has always been special to him and im excited to watch them both be stupid in love with each other
