But it was translated to english for ENGLISH audience, not for korean. It maybe stays true for original but for english readers its not. They dont know these nuances, it completely changes how they view characters which destroy the purpose of original work which is MUCH worse.

You keep bringing up what an official localization team might do if the manhwa were licensed in English. Let me remind you, THIS ISN'T AN OFFICIAL localization. I'm a fan translator, and I chose to keep the author's original name instead of changing it based on my personal preferences.
You say English translators should consider English audiences. Sure. But there are also translators who prioritize preserving the source material. Neither approach is objectively correct. I simply chose the latter.
AND NO, I'm not "spamming a slur." I'm using the MC's actual name as written by the author. There's a DIFFERENCE between intentionally using a slur and translating a Korean name that happens to RESEMBLE an English word.
What's funny is that I've already said twice that if the name GENUINELY BOTHERS you that much, you can simply STOP READING. Nobody is forcing you to continue. Yet instead of moving on, some people keep coming back to complain about the exact same thing over and over again. At that point, it's becoming more of a nuisance than a discussion.
If an official publisher ever decides to rename him to Daikeu or something else, that's their choice. But acting like fan translators are required to rewrite the author's naming choices to satisfy every English-speaking reader is just your opinion, not a rule.

This feels like making mountain out of a molehill. Please don't speak for the general english audience because not everyone associate Dyke as slur. When I hear it, it reminds me of the wall built to prevent floods. That's what dyke is from where i'm from.

The MC’s name 다이크 (Daikeu) is the original name from the Korean raws. It was translated as "Dyke," and it’s supposed to be pronounced like the word "dye/die" with a "k" sound at the end, not like the word "dick." I honestly didn’t even know that "dyke" had another meaning until people pointed it out in the comments.
Personally, I thought "Dyke" sounded good and suited the character when you read this manhwa, so I didn’t think it would be an issue at first. I translated it that way out of respect for the author and the original work. I already changed a bit some minor characters’ names, so changing the main character’s name felt disrespectful to the author’s choice. That’s why I was really confused by all the comments about his name.
Anyway, translators follow and translate what’s written in the original text. Maybe the author simply thought the name sounded nice without knowing the other meaning behind it?
EDIT: The comments here is full of people complaining about MC's name. But it won't change the original text. A translator's goal is to translate what is written by the author, not to rewrite the work based on personal preferences. Making major changes to the original content would be disrespectful to the author, especially considering that this work is already being shared without their permission
++As you can see, I only started translating from Chapter 15 onward. I am not the uploader or translator of Chapters 1–14. As I mentioned on the notice page, I continued using the names and terms used by the previous uploaders to avoid confusing the readers.
