No they probably cursed ayoung to transfer sohee's sickness to her or something similar. And she has to keep being sick otherwise it'll revert back to Sohee? Maybe? Anyway but when she died I think that she probably took the curse with her and healing permanently Sohee hence why her parents were smiling. That's just my theory though
