This would be peak if it wasn't so groomy. Its like they tried their hardest to make the uke as naive and dumb as possible and the seme as obsessive, possessive and controlling as possible. They are both such cliches(dont get me wrong I love a good cliche) and it clearly wasnt enough so they went ahead and made the seme a groomer.
He's known Asha since he was a baby and has liked him since then. He tried to change imperial law so he could marry Asha when he was like 10 and asha was 4, thats weird, a ten yr old should NOT be crushing on a 4 year old. They are both kids but that doesn't change the fact that its weird. Its like a 17 year crushing on a 11 year old...that's weird no matter how u look at it.
The author did not need to make the age gap so wide between them. Then they went ahead and doubled down and made the uke as childlike and naive as possible which made it even more odd.
