The grooming was in reference to what cats do. Like how they lick themselves or each other?
I agree their relationship is problematic, but he isn't a groomer, he's just an asshole and a manipulator, those are different things
I know but I just can't shake it off. The kid is young and naive, so he can mold him to however he wanted. So, grooming in that sense.
