He is the only one who knows and loves real Hajin. And Hajin loved him back when he was still in his OG body. It's just their circumstances were not easy for them to be open about feelings.
Chan is a good boy but the one he fell for was OG Siheyon. If OG Siheyon was still alive maybe things worked out for them. But sadly Siheyon is dead. In ideal world where nobody dies pairings could be Daejun+Hajin and Chan+OG Siheyon.
