It is deeply regrettable that from chapter 200 leading up to the finale in chapter 345, the narrative shifts its focus heavily toward the romantic subplots of Yi Yun and Jin Yao’s friends, particularly the story between A and their sibling, as well as Tang and Chen. Scenes featuring Yi Yun and Jin Yao were often relegated to the end of the chapters.
This contrasts sharply with chapters 1 to 200, which consistently emphasized their relationship dynamic and growth. While their friends' storylines were occasionally introduced earlier on, they never dominated full chapters.
I was genuinely anticipating Yi Yun and Jin Yao’s wedding, the public reactions of their relationship, and their daily life as a happy family. Furthermore, I was intrigued by the origin of Rou Rou’s powers; unfortunately, the author provided no explanation before the conclusion of the series.
This remains merely my hypothesis, but it is possible the author initially intended to prolong the series, leading to the highly detailed coverage of the supporting characters' romance. Additionally, I recall reports from China in 2025 regarding an artist who faced imprisonment over BL/gay artwork. It is highly plausible that this censorship climate prompted the author to alter their plans, abruptly shortening the series and subsequently bypassing major milestones for Yi Yun and Jin Yao
And to this day, I still regret how it turned out; that lingering feeling of disappointment has stayed with me ever since the comic ended. Even so, I am genuinely happy that they ultimately got their happy ending

I think if the China doesn't banned BL authors this chapter has a long way to go, I feel like they'll continue it up to each every side couple chapters along withe the 2 actors relationship development and ended with fantastic layout for the main couple's wedding.... :-(
