the flashbacks even made it worse
but i'm so glad they had this kind of closure.. the crown prince loves her, and jiwoo loved him, but there truly is no happiness if one of them must sacrifice/abandon something for them to be together.
what brought them together in the first place were genuine feelings, and what separated them were also genuine feelings of having loved someone and the other having to atone for his sins to prove his love. it's the best ending for them and i'm so glad jiwoo is finally moving on, with men who treats her better and makes her live as easy it is to breathe and as easy it is to smile, i adore them qwq
this is my first time reading this kind of manhwa (if u check my reading lists and all) and i just wanna say damn.. this is really good so far. and i had to take a break after reading chapter 36 bc man... i was crying for how tragic jiwoo and the crown prince's love story was, the flashbacks even made it worse
