So there will be a huge misunderstanding between Taeui and Ilay because Taeui will go to Xinlu for something instead of Ilay. Then Ilay will think that he chose Xinlu and that Taeui betrayed him. I forgot the details but once they’ll reunite, Ilay will grape Taeui and woudnt let him talk when Taeui could have just spoken to Ilay to resolve the misunderstanding but he shut Taeui’s mouth so Taeui was basically tortured for no reason just because Ilay woudnt let him talk…

Taeui will be forced to go with Xinlu next chap. Ilay goes ballistic and smashes the car window they're in but he still loses Taeui. Taeui eventually goes back to Ilay after talking to Xinlu (basically its their closure because we all know who Taeui truly loves.)

The next time they see each other, they're at Johannesburg and Ilay isn't happy. He believes Taeui still wants to leave him. Remember during the phonecall he told Taeui he would get back at him for the sacrifices he will make to save him.

Taeui arrives at the bus stop and Ilay is there waiting for him. At the hotel, Ilay ties him up, gags Taeui, and rapes him again. Ilay, as always, threatened to cannibalize Taeui for what he did, and if he does it again in the future.

Afterwards they are declared as terrorists and bcs of this, taeui began residing at kyle's. Naturally Ilay follows him. That's where the main novel ends.

Wdym thats how the main novel ends you mean they'll stay toxic for life when they could just have talk it out. F##k illay

LOL there are 3 more novels abt them after that. Diaphonic Symphonia, Passion Suite, and Suite Complete works. Ilay will treat Taeui better onwards ("better" considering he's a fcking psychopath sksks). It will depend on the reader how they'll perceive his actions, if u do consider reading the novels.

But imo Ilay became more "human" when he started seeing Taeui as his lover. Taeui once said he likes kind ppl so ilay kept talking about the "kind" things he did so taeui would like him more

If noncon and coercion aren't your thing, you might want to drop Passion sksksksks. I've read all their novels, their sex are all coerced even when Taeui was the one who initiated. But yah, it just rlly depends how much u can handle in toxic bl xD

Thank you for explaining it better lol. I read the novel 2 years ago, so I forgot most of the details. Man, I used to think Ilay will have charachter development when everything crumbled.
