It kinda no though, technically he didn't really embezzled as it was just a fake fund investment contract made by the ml. He just deliberately makes it look like one to the others to speed up the merger thing but in fact it's comes from Teakyung's own money. I think explained it to the Secretary. It didn't show in the story but consider the investigation happens in the company if proven he embezzled money he really can't go untouched but throughout the ending he didn't get punished cuz they didn't get the proof to his crime. So basically that must mean his name is still clear.
I didn't hate ML like these people did, i kinda understand his reason and he never actually hurted MC in any way.
MC is just pitiful, everyone around him is selfish. That friend kindda ruined his life, not younger, but older with embezzlement thing.
