i doubt its just imagination, because the way its written and the feeling it gives off reminds me so strongly of abuse ive personally gone through, and i think other people probably feel the same
Well people can be very good at what they do
perhaps, i just feel like its really hard to imagine the same feelings and symptoms thats almost identical to real life abuse. its that like 'flavour' thats hard to feel unless youve been through it before. but i get that its not entirely impossible
Its very possible if you do research, an author doesnt just write things imagining how it could be. Im sure they do research so it can be more realistic. Some people are really really good. Imo you dont have to experience to write about it. And i guess its done brilliantly since people are questioning it.
Si tú quieres creer eso está bien, pero por algo se dice que la gente no entiende lo que no ah vivido, y se nota, hay cientos de bls con abuso, violación y demás, y aún que sus personajes "sufren" no es el sufrimiento que nace de la vivencia en específico si no como una excusa para causar ese dolor al personaje, es muy diferente cuando hay una conección con esa realidad por qué no solo es ver como se ve el dolor real de alguien o haberlo sentido, no es solo un mal momento es algo que tienes que ver con tus propios ojos, para tener tan vivido la imagen de como afecta a la persona y como se ve eso, por qué no es igual a otras cosas

"unchanged man" and "efforts never betray" (the author's other work) makes me think they really understand abuse in a deep personal way. I think some of it might be due to research, but there's some deep personal pain that you can feel in their works. their depiction of abuse and mental illness is just very heart breaking
