Not if they stick with the novel. But why would you want them to reunite anyway, they literally left him to die. Gave him some snacks and bailed. His mom seemed sad about it, but she left him to die anyway. They had no way to know that anyone would find him, and the house was set to be demolished.
Reunite might sound positive but I meant for them to meet so they can see how well he is doing without them... they left him but didn't receive any consequences as far as we know
