Right like I don't have problems with people of 'other orientation' writing it but it just does not hit sometimes. They just don't get it right, the gender dynamic, the positions, they all remain the same as they were. Also sometimes I feel like a lot of bl nowadays feel so mass produced same thing slop.
Running away from the ml has always been smth I’ve seen in romance, straight and bl romance but it’s always aggravating the mc folds EVERY TIME and ends up coming back without the ml ever apologizing or groveling. Is there any stories that do it tastefully bcuz I actually do like the idea but it’s never done right in the ones I’ve read.
