There are definitely a lot of things which are considered dark, but pale in comparison to other comics like jinx, killing stalking (everything pales in comparison to that i suppose), pearl boy, Pearl boy: ignite the dawn, roses and champagne- and other dark BLs. This one starts out as psychologically twisted and confusing, but progresses into sweet and fluffy (though the transition period in pretty long). Nonetheless, this is a great read! Do give it a try if you can handle it. Mainly consists of assault, but it isn't romanticised in any way, so I think a lot of people find this to be a primary example of a psychological BL. There is imposter syndrome though.
so there’s a rape scene between the main couple in the first chapter (i think.. it’s definitely one of the first ones) and their relationship starts off a bit toxic/manipulative, but it grows better and more wholesome by the end. the rest of the story covers dark topics like abuse both physical, sexual, and mental (not between the main couple, there’s an evil guy in the story) and grooming. but it’s a happy ending
