The root of ALL evil is nothing but this MC's insane, illogical, and unethical actions, words, and judgments from the very beginning of the story to the end, which show no regard for anything other than his own pain and convenience, and are full of contradictions with no room for justification whatsoever. The fact that you completely ignore this speaks volumes about you're not much different from this author.
